Rob Williamson, owner of Trees Plus and ISA Certified Arborist, will hold a tree pruning demonstration and educational question and answer session at the Escambia County Celebration of Florida Arbor Day. The demonstration will begin at 11am at the Lexington Terrace Park, Warrington, FL.
The Florida Arbor Day celebration is from 9am - 2pm and includes a tree planting demonstration, giveaways, and a raffle for thirty 3-gallon trees.
The event is sponsored by Trees Plus, Escambia County Water Quality/Land Management Division, UF/IFAS Extension and Master Gardener program, Florida Division of Forestry, and the Honeysuckle Garden Club.

The ‘Outstanding Professional’ award was established over 10 years ago and it recognizes a professional individual for his or her contribution to urban forestry activities and arboricultural practices. Nominees included municipal foresters, private arborists, utility arborists, growers, and educators. For the first time in over a decade, the award was given to a recipient from the Florida Panhandle.
