Sponsor: Run for the Reef 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run benefits Navarre Beach Marine Sanctuary in the creation of diving and snorkeling reefs at Navarre Beach.

 

Headline Sponsor:  Navarre Board of Realtors Homes on Tour and created a special award to raise awareness about the benefits of an eco-friendly landscape. The award focused on tree location (energy conservation), curb appeal, smart irrigation (water conservation), and the use of indigenous plants, which provides countless benefits including reduced maintenance and greater protection during the hurricane season.

Operation Inasmuch, Navarre United Methodist Church, 2007 & 2008
 
Operation Inasmuch is a community-wide ministry effort to help those in need with home repair, yard maintenance, wheel chair ramps, etc.  If you know of a family with a special need please contact Navarre United Methodist Church. Last year, Operation Inasmuch had 450 volunteers who helped 160 local families.
 
 
Hadji Temple Shrine in Pensacola, 2008
 
Through their fund raising activities, the Hadji Shriners provide much needed philanthropic support to Shriners Hospitals for Children and the Hadji Children’s Transportation Fund. Since its inception, Shriners Hospitals for Children have provided medical care to more than 865,000 children. The hospitals provide care in one or more specialties, including orthopedics, burns, spinal cord injury, and cleft lip and palate.

Trees Plus provided a free hurricane evaluation to all schools in Okaloosa County for the Okaloosa County School Board, 2008
